I did a doodle today to look at the bigger reflections, a city built on the water's edge. The lights patterning the night, the buildings towering in their stillness, with the street below reflecting the noise and movement of city life.
Reflecting a contradiction, opposites making up the entity.

This blog follows my personal challenge to do a doodle everyday for 2015 to show something from my day - an occurrence, a thought, a meeting, some work, news, something that caught my eye, a conversation I had or overheard... in summary, this is my Doodle Diary 2015. And if you fancy, why not share your day with a doodle too.

I did a doodle today of just the reflection, the subject out of site (off the page). It's all gone upside down, as that's what reflections do... turn things back on what they are reflecting.

I did a doodle today using a previous doodle of my little girl. I have adapted it to capture her lying down on the edge of the water, hands and hair breaking the water's edge. Another for my 'reflections' set...

I did a doodle today, a little random but still in my 'reflection' theme. I thought I'd just experiment with Illustrator tools a bit.... and just thought this looked particularly bonkers.
My reflection of a sheep, a watery swirl fabulously distorting the image of the grazing sheep above the pond.
Bonkers.

I did a doodle today following on from my 'ping' moment yesterday. I am going to spend this week doodling reflections and today I have started with a lighthouse shining its' light over the perilous rocks.

I did a doodle today because we are back in North Wales and greeted by the beautiful abandoned lighthouse.
Last time we were here I spent a long time reflecting on this lighthouse (I even did a blog on it >), what it once stood for and how it stands so dominantly, but so unused now. And then I had a 'ping' moment of inspiration: whilst I'm away this week I'm going to theme my doodles on reflections. I think I will start with a lighthouse reflection tomorrow...

I did a doodle today combining the wonderful Colour Collective and my current 'Nature's Couture' project.
So armed with this week's #Colour_Collective colour of Aubergine, I decided on a bed of snakes (or should that be a knot of snakes?) to do this deep and rich colour justice.
This is the fifth picture in my 'Nature's Couture' collection, and possibly my favourite...
