I did a doodle today as part of my Water Lily project. Canvases out, small ones to start with before getting really bold. Today, background work, literally. Here are the three not-quite-blank-canvases that are now drying ready for waterlilies and reeds.I just love working in the colours to create the initial feel and atmosphere of a picture, it's like reverting back to childhood finger-painting and I can be equally as messy. Happy days.
