I did a doodle today as I am a fairy tale princess... swoon, sigh, dream sequence...

Reality. I lost myself for a couple of hours in childhood fantasies and sparkly ballgowns. We went to the cinema to see Cinderella and it was (apart from the very well portrayed but very scary wicked stepmother) wonderfully magical.

I shall go to the ball...

I did a doodle today for this week's #Colour_Collective, emerald green.

As I am in the depths of the beautiful Dorset countryside, and spring has now officially sprung to life, I have been doing some nature study sketches. So here is one that I have added a splash or two of colour to.

2nd April 2015

I did a doodle today after heading off for Easter family fun. Child, dog and most the contents of the house bundled into the car and off we headed. Amazing what we feel we need as essentials for this trip... We are staying in our family home with our family in the UK in civilisation. So there is actually no fear of running out of anything as it is probably in the house already, and there are seriously loads of shops very close by.

Oh well, just in case...

I did a doodle today with the help of my daughter. Trying to gain some inspiration on what to doodle today, my little one asked if she could have a play on my computer. So I introduced her to Adobe Illustrator. Never too young!

So, with some help on colour selection and brush types, I let her freestyle her creativity. Fabulous. We ended up with three unique pieces of abstract art. This gave me an idea - challenge time. I have to turn these three pictures into something, without altering or removing any of my daughter's original picture. Ooooooo what fun.

I did a doodle today because it's been a watery kind of a day, Rain, puddles, faulty tap, car-wash, windscreen washer refill, spilling boiling water (no injuries) and drip drip splish splash splosh. And as I have to create some watery scenes for some upcoming illustrations, I decided to do some very quick watery doodles to try and inspire... not sure it worked, but at least it has finally stopped raining outside.

I did a doodle today as it is Ickle Monday, hurrah. Cuteness abound, teeny bits of silly fun, a splash or ten of colour and some oh-so-adorable little faces.

I did a doodle today, but I originally had no idea what to do a doodle of. So I asked my daughter. Her response, like all good self-approving four year olds... "Me Mummy". So I did.

Actually, she is perfect as I took a photo of her there and then and think she perfectly epitomises the end of a fun filled happy Sunday.
